If you’re dealing with cancer, your primary focus should be on getting better. It’s not always easy, especially if you’re worrying about things like how you’ll get to and from treatments, pay your bills or take care of your house and family. Today on the Morning Report, we talk about how Karen Page and the Maine Cancer Resource Connection can lend a helping hand.

Cheers and thank you to everyone involved! I loved reading and learning about the single point of entry for people with cancer. Thanks for sharing and keeping us in the loop. As you indicate above, patients and families dealing with cancer have enough on their plates without trying to figure out the system. That’s the communities job. This partnering effort makes so much sense and will remove at least one point of frustration for those needing cancer resources. Hopefully other organizations serving other medical diagnoses will partner with their professional peers and do the same throughout Maine. Let’s get the challenge out there!
