So! What is intuition, anyway? I think it is the mind paying attention to details in the background and storing them in some cubby or on a shelf perhaps labeled “May be relevant.” We then connect the dots when an actually relevant detail emerges that demands our attention. We then, automatically (you might say intuitively,) reflect back to those other details we have stored away that are related and connect those dots together in the moment with the new detail. The mind is amazing! What do you think? Is that gut feeling actually happening in the mind?
